FREE Measure and Quote.

We welcome you to give us a call on 0800 321 717 or send us a message through our online contact form, to arrange a complimentary visit, expert advise and a run through of your options, with a free measure and quote.

We also take note of and work around any underground utilities. These may include conduits for outdoor lighting or power, telephone lines, water lines for irrigation. We will advise if additional work is required, such as for drains to be moved, any issues with compliance, or the addition of a traffic management service to complete the work.

We provide a range of options for your driveway, including surface material and coloured concrete. We can advise on asthetics, matching the colour of the concrete to your house colour and style, but we understand the final decision is yours to make.

Project Scheduled on Quote Acceptance

On acceptance of our quote and confirmation of your requirements, we schedule a time to begin the work. Project turnaround times vary from site to site, We will discuss this with you in more detail and outline the different jobs required to be completed on your project.

Site Preparation

For standard driveway installations we use a digger to clear and level the area and remove any soil or other vegetation from the location. We grade and compress new AP40 sub base to ensure your concrete will be the correct depth and thickness.

Driveway Boxing Installed followed by Client Signoff

Your driveway is boxed, taking note of any specific requirements originally discussed such as the location of underground utilities.

Once boxing is complete we ask you to inspect the area prepared to ensure  meets your requirements, and we also ask that you sign off on it before we proceed. This ensures your complete satisfaction, and a job done right first time.

Driveway Poured and Slab Finishing

The concrete is poured into the boxed area, and graded for the correct depth or thickness. The slab is finished to ensure a smooth, even surface. We offer a range of finishes that can be applied, each giving a unique effect. We are happy to run through our finishes with you.

Our range of driveway finishing options:

  • Sponge finish
  • Broom finish
  • Rolled finish
  • Cove finish
  • Machine finish (Power Float)
  • Exposed Aggregate
  • Stamped Concrete

Concrete Cutting

Every driveway needs control joints, or ‘planned cracks’ to relieve stress and to ensure that if your concrete does crack due to movement, it will crack exactly where it is supposed too. Cracking is a common characteristic of concrete and occurs as concrete shrinks while drying. Cracking may also occur due to earth movement – a familiar experience for Canterbury residents. We do everything we can to futureproof your concrete driveway, and welcome your calls to discuss any driveway maintenance work if and when required.

Final Site Cleanup

We take pride in leaving your premises better than we found it. We take great pleasure in providing a quality driveway, complemented by ensuring tidy surroundings and little or no evidence of the recent work activity.
